My colleagues and friends usually call me Raph.

I used to be a teaching assistant until August 2004. I then worked for the project Evergrow, and since June 2006 I work a researcher for the project Selfman, that aims at building self-managed systems.

My research interests focus on programming languages, more specifically concurrent and distributed programming languages. My work aims at exploring the limits of network tranparency in a distributed programming language. A distributed language operation is said to be network tranparent if it behaves as if it were executed on a single processor.

I have defended my PhD in December 2007. My thesis is available here.
